Leishman gunning for Masters lead amid rain

Marc Leishman is challenging for the lead at the Masters following a rain delay.

Hideki Matsuyama is tied for the lead with Englishman Justin Rose -7, however the Japan star is through 12 holes while Rose has played just 7 at the time of writing.

Aussie Matt Jones is also in contention and currently sits at 1-under overall.


Rose led the pack at 7-under par and had a one-shot lead over Will Zalatoris before officials approached them on the seventh green to let them know they were about to blow the horn to suspend play.

It’s the first time this week that weather has halted play at Augusta National.

Corey Conners,Justin Thomas were at 5 under. Jordan Spieth made a double bogey on No. 7, only to bounce back with a blind shot off pine straw and over trees from 95 yards to 4 feet for birdie. He was three shots back.

Cameron Smith has dropped down the leader board at 1-over while Adam Scott is dead last on 10-over.
