For me the text is totally clear, I love my PlayStation, but my girlfriend won’t let me play. How can anyone misunderstand that?
Based on a true story
I got the idea to this illustration when watching a reality show on tv. In the show, a family man, married with two children, lost his job, his car and is now going to be evicted from his home. He is up to his ears in debt.
In an attempt to get money for the rent, and save the family from living in the streets, the TV host telling them to sell almost everything they have.
So far everything is ok for this man. They sell the TV, most of their clothes, the furniture, the children’s toys etcetera.
The guy is totally cool until the host is going to take away his Playstation.
He goes crazy and is weeping like a child. The host is trying to calm him down, but it doesn’t help.
– Don’t take my Playstation. That’s the only thing I have! the guy cried.
– But you have your beautiful wife, and you, two lovely children, the host trying to calm him with.
– No, you don’t take my Playstation! are the weeping man’s last word.
